Play Storms in Goodgame Empire
This post is written on February 5 2021. Exactly 5 days before the storm starts. This time GGE team might have re-done storm as announced and bought some changes.
This post will then be updates accordingly to the new changes/updates. As of now no DeCastilla player is allowed to share this website with players from other alliances.
Doing so will result in permanent ban from viewing this website. This post is specifically written to guide DeCastilla players to win the upcoming war of Storms on 10th February.
The Keep
"The Keep" is a very important part of doing storms because of the construction speed bonus that it gives you.
Generally you start with Keep level 1 in storm. However, the first thing you are supposed to do is to upgrade your keep and the storehouse to the max level possible.

As you can see in the above table. WIth every increasing level of "The Keep" your construction speed bonus also increase and this is very important in order to build Ships faster.
The first thing that every player is supposed to do after entering Storms is not to build cargo ships but instead max out your storehouse and your Keep.
The 200% bonus helps you save tons of skips.
Cargo Ships
Building cargo ships in storm is what gives you cargo points. You can find them in the general build menu and need aquarimine to build them.
The higher the level of cargo ship the higher points it gives and the higher aquarimine you require to upgrade it.
The Alliance which score the highest cargo points wins Storm and get entitled with amazing rewards that every ally sought after.
Aquarimien can be plundered from resource islands but since DeCastilla is Neutral we are not allowed to capture RIs for this reason you need to loot aqua from Storm forts.
Level 70 and level 80 storm forts gives you the same amount of aqua and you can loot upto 15k from hitting one storm fort depending on your commander and skills.
I have listed the time it takes to build cargo ships in the below table. Pay attention on how upgrading the keep decrease the build time.

As you can see upgrading your keep to level 5 helps a lot in reducing build time.
The max level of a cargo ship is Level 10. Howeevr, you are only allowed to upgrade ships till level 8 only because after level 8 the upgrade time for ships goes to 100+ hours and take too much cargo which is not worth investing your time and resources in.
Relic Commander
Relic castellen commadners can have great effect on your in-game economy. They can boost resource production, research speed and constrution spped.
The one feature that we are specifically looking for here is boost in construction speed. You can easily increase your construction speed to upto 30%+ in just a click by assigning a relic commadner with construction boost to your Storm castellen.
As you can see this commander is giving me a construction boost of 37% which when combined with a level 5 keep will help me to build ships a lot faster.
